Formerly know as, "Here's Love," this is the familiar story where Kris Kringle takes on the cynics among us in this musical adaptation of the popular holiday favorite movie. In his inimitable style, Meredith Willson, author of "The Music Man," and "The Unsinkable Molly Brown," tells us the classic story of the film, "Miracle on 34th Street."
The Story: A white-bearded gentleman, claiming to be the real Santa Claus, brings about a wave of love throughout New York City, fosters camaraderie between Macy's and Gimbel's Department Stores, and convinces a divorced, cynical, single mother, her somber daughter, and the entire state of New York that Santa Claus in no myth.
This is truly a family favorite and will certainly get everyone in the Christmas spirit. It will remind adults of the excitement of Christmas as a child, and will remind children of the true meaning of Christmas.
